Spring Training has officially moved into the tedious stage, with most players, managers, and fans ready to start the season. Domonic Brown is one of those players most anxious, because he's got his stroke perfected and doesn't want to waste his base knocks on meaningless March games. A case can be made for him being the 2013 Spring Training MVP.
MLB Ranks:
AVG - .397 (16th)
OBP - .465 (14th)
SLG - .714 (10th)
OPS - 1.179 (9th)
H - 25 (1st)
R - 21 (1st)
HR - 6 (tied for 1st)
RBI - 12 (tied for 8th)
He's won the Opening Day nod in right field, and will play there until Delmon Young sadly returns. Hopefully Dom can begin to fulfill all the hope and hype that was thrust upon him in his younger years. Then he could be a mainstay in the Phillies outfield for years to come.
